With the new oak matt version, Thorens adds a natural design option to the TD 403 DD without changing its technical concept. The matte wood finish blends effortlessly into a wide range of living environments while keeping the focus on what truly defines this model: precise and controlled analogue playback. The black platter, tonearm and aluminium top plate create a deliberate contrast to the warm wood surface, emphasizing the turntable’s refined and premium appearance.
At its core, the TD 403 DD remains a purist direct-drive turntable designed for listeners who value control, precision and long-term sonic performance. Its smooth-running direct-drive motor ensures stable speeds at 33⅓ and 45 rpm, providing the foundation for clean and accurate music reproduction.
A key feature is the TP 150 tonearm, which offers extensive adjustment options and an SME connector for easy cartridge changes. This gives users the flexibility to tailor the turntable to their individual preferences and leaves ample room for future upgrades.
The TD 403 DD comes factory-fitted with the Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge, delivering a high level of performance right from the start, with detailed, balanced and engaging sound reproduction.
